Animal Reiki
Reiki (Ray-key) is a Japanese name consisting of two words Rei and Ki meaning universal life energy, an energy which permeates all around us. Reiki is a form of spiritual healing using "universal life energy" channeled through the practitioner to the recipient. Reiki promotes the harmony of the mind, body, and spirit for your pet, or for any individual (family members of pets) who desire to seek healing from within.
For animals, Reiki is a non-invasive healing method that can address pain, injury, and illness. It can have remarkable effects on fear, anxiety, aggression, depression, and trauma. Reiki focusses on the "whole-being" of the animal and assists with physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances.
Reiki strengthens the immune system, accelerates natural healing, relieves pain, relaxes muscle spasms, clears toxins, calms, nurtures, and comforts.
Reiki will not cause harm, does not have side effects, and works great in conjunction with other holistic therapies or medical treatments.
What is Distance Reiki – Distance healing, also known as remote healing, is an energetic healing process that can be best explained through the principles of Quantum physics. It has been proven to be extremely effective, sometimes even more effective than local, hands-on healing.
How does it work?
Quantum physics shows us that everything is made up of energy, and everything is connected. Everything is part of the same, continuous whole. Long-distance healing is “wireless” healing. We accept that cell phones, televisions and even our garage door openers work in this wireless way. It’s not much of a leap to accept that all energy travels that way, including the energy of healing.
In a remote Reiki session, the practitioner connects with the person or animal requesting the healing energetically. Every living being has a unique frequency and the practitioner tunes into that unique energy. We are all part of the same unified field of consciousness, and it’s simply a question of “dialing in” to the correct frequency. Once the connection is made, the practitioner sends the healing energy to the recipient.
Reiki energy therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions nor do they prescribe, perform medical treatment, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It is recommended that animals be taken to a licensed veterinarian for any ailment they have.
Reiki for Parents of Pets
For "the Human"
Not only is Reiki beneficial for animals, Reiki is very much needed for the parents of pets. Have you ever noticed how your pets pick up on your energy? Have you ever come home from work, after having a “bad day”, and your pet is the first one to come to you to comfort you? If you and a loved one are having a disagreement, does your pet go into another room? Have you ever felt like your pet knows where they are going on the car ride, and you don’t even have to tell them? Your pet feeds off of your energy. When your energy is in balance, it helps your pet (and everyone in your family). This is where Reiki comes in. You can receive Reiki from the comfort of your home through Distance Reiki. During your Reiki session, any imbalances will be addressed so that you feel refreshed and more in balance. Detailed feedback will be provided after each session.
In-Home Reiki
We do offer in-home Reiki sessions. These sessions are another way to provide Reiki to your pet. With an in-home session, we will schedule a time to come to your home, provide reiki through a hands-off practice. Your pet(s) can be anywhere in the home at the time of the session.
